Coach Selection
The CHC Director of Hockey is responsible for selecting all head coaches. In addition, at the Pee Wee level and above, all head coaches will be non parent coaches. Assistant coaches will be selected from applications after tryouts by the head coach and the director of hockey.
All coaches (head and assistant) must have the USA Hockey Coaching Education Program card by December 31 of the calendar year.
Coaching Requirements
Mite coaches must have a level 1 coaching card.
Squirt coaches must have a level 2 coaching card. (Prerequisite level 1)
Pee Wee coaches must have a level 3 coaching card. (Prerequisite level 1 and 2)
Bantam coaches must have a level 3 coaching card. (Prerequisite level 1 and 2)
Midget Minor coaches must have a level 3 coaching card. (Perquisite level 1 and 2)
Midget Major coaches must have a level 3 coaching card. (Prerequisite level 1 and 2)
Midget (Tier I & Tier II) coaches must have a level 4 coaching card. (Prerequisite level 1, 2, & 3)
