Dear CHC Family
We are saddened to inform you that we have lost one of our own. Stevie Fillo, son of Coach Steve and Lisa Fillo was tragically killed in an auto accident that occurred Saturday in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He was returning home from hockey practice with his younger brother Joey when the accident occurred. Joey is hospitalized with serious injuries that do not appear to be life threatening. Stevie and Joey were both attending the University of Alabama and playing on the Club team. Both Fillo boys played for CHC as well as Lewis Palmer High School, where they were coached by their Dad, and were integral members of our Club and the local hockey community.
While details are understandably sketchy at this time, we plan to assist the Fillo family in any way we can during this difficult time. Lynne Dylewski and Andrew Sherman will be leading the effort. If you would like to contribute to a CHC floral arrangement or volunteer to provide the Fillos with any immediate assistance (meals, chores, etc), please contact Lynne or Andrew at the rink for details as they develop.
We know that you join us in offering our thoughts and prayers to the Fillo family.
The CHC Executive Board
A HUGE Thank You from CHC!

A big giant THANK YOU to Stanton Kensinger and Erik Schroeder of Business Resource Partners and the Jim Campbell Adult Hockey League. They held their inaugural Fall Golf Classic recently and raised funds to support the development of youth hockey. At our November Advisory Board meeting Stan and Erik presented CHC with an $850 check. We would like to thank the CHC youth hockey program for helping to develop present and future generations of hockey players. The sport of hockey has meant so much to us throughout our lives; we thought our business could give something back to the sport. Thanks so much Stan, Erik, Business Resource Partners and the Campbell Adult league.
