Cost for Skill Level Try outs/evaluations:
$20 for mites A/B
$40 for mites C/D
$150 for squirt, pee wee, bantam and midgets

Try out information: Skill level tryouts will start Aug 14 for midgets, Aug. 21 for squirt, pee wee, bantam. Mite c/d evaluations will start Sept 12. Mite a/b level evaluations will start Sept 19. Rosters will be posted on the CHC website within 48 hours after the skill level tryouts.

Practices: Players and their parents should note that most but not all practices will be at the CHC home rink in Monument. We will also be scheduling other ice rinks as necessary. All teams squirt and older will have Off Ice Training. Playing on a travel team is not drop in hockey. Missed practices will be a discussion item addressed by the head coach at the first parent / coaches meeting.

Travel Expenses: All teams are required to pay for their tournament/jamboree entry fees and coaches travel expenses as explained in the CHC policies and procedures. If your team chooses to do more tournaments than the suggested number for your age/skill level only the participating players will pay for those expenses. Team fundraising may help with travel expenses.

Fees: All fees are due Sept 30. Failure to pay fees by these dates will result in loss of skating privileges for your player. When registering you will be charged for tryouts and minimum division fee for your player. If your player makes top level team, your fees will change. CHC will charge $30 for all returned checks.

Fundraising:

In order for CHC to continue to be one of the best clubs in the state, we need to promote the fundraising efforts of the club. As we are all aware, there is a high cost per player in youth hockey as compared to other youth sports and school activities. In an effort to offset these costs CHC will have several fundraising promotions throughout the year.

These fundraisers will include the Summer Golf Tournament, CHC sponsored Hockey Tournament, Raffles, Scripts, etc.

It is the goal of CHC to make youth hockey financially accessible to all our families. Your participation in these activities is highly encouraged, as that is what makes your club a success for everyone.
